Chris Pawley and his partner, Corey Lorde, arrived at Las Ramblas just moments after a van plowed into a crowd of people, killing at least 13 and injuring dozens more.

Pawley, 30, posted footage of the aftermath on Facebook.

“Can’t believe we are in the same place as another terrorist attack!" tweeted Pawley, an event planner. "Hope everyone is okay in Barcelona!”

On Facebook he added that he and Lorde were safe, but that nearby stores had all shuttered and the army had been mobilized.

In May, At least 22 people were killed when a bomb went off at an Ariana Concert in Manchester. Pawley attended the show but survived unscathed. He told the press he passed by victim Martyn Hett just moments before bomb detonated.

He was in Barcelona for the Circuit Festival, one of the biggest gay circuit events in Europe. On Twitter, organizers of the festival said they were canceling the remainder of the event out of “respect and solidarity with the victims."
